Blogging for Money Using Google Adsense

In CategoryAffiliate Marketing, Blogging For Money, Google Adsense, Make Money Online, Using Google
ByUser Imagejakerosario

Blogger makes it really simple for you to be blogging for money using Google Adsense. Google Adsense are advertisements by Google that are relevant to the contents of your website. Because Google places ads that are relevant to your contents…you don’t have to select the keywords or categories yourself. Google does that for you. If you are blogging about your favorite basketball team, you might see ads on the contents of your website of NBA tickets or basketball gears. If you are blogging about traveling, you might see ads of discounted airfares, hotels, cruises, or anything that are relevant to traveling. Watch the video and find out what bloggers are saying about blogging for money using Google Adsense.

Now here’s how you get paid. Google Adsense is a strictly pay-per-click based affiliate program. Pay-per-click is one of the most powerful ways to reach your targeted audience because it can put your advertisement in front of over 1 billion users online in a matter of minutes. There are 4 parties involve.

  1. Merchants: who signs up and submit their advertisement to Google.
  2. Google: who distribute the Merchant’s advertisement online.
  3. You: who places the advertisement on your website.
  4. Customers: who clicks on the advertisment.
When the customer clicks on the Merchant’s advertisement, depending on the size of the ad and how much the Merchant bid on your site, the Merchant pays Google for distributing the ad, and Google will pay you for placing the ad on your website. Simple as that.

Ben & Mena Trott Bring Blogging to the Masses

In CategoryBlogging For Money, Success Stories
ByUser Imagejakerosario

If blogs reshaped the face of the Internet, consider Mena Trott as the poster child of the World Wide Web. Once a casual blogger, she never envisioned parlaying her knack for writing funny little stories into the $90 million blogosphere powerhouse that is Six Apart. Mena and husband Ben Trott were victims of the Internet slowdown in 2001. Out of their high-tech jobs, the San Francisco-based couple had some savings in the bank and decided to launch their own venture. “We thought if we did well we might make a couple of thousand dollars a month, but we thought we’d have to get jobs again at some point. It was the time for us to do something that we liked,” she says.

Mena’s blog, dollarshort, was quickly gaining recognition and the 22 year old wanted to capitalize on its popularity. The duo formed a company, called Six Apart, converted the spare bedroom in their apartment and got to work. They developed an open-source, server-based Web log publishing platform, Movable Type, designed for techies and sophisticated Web users. But the Trotts realized that, as blogging became mainstream, there was a need for a more user-friendly version. In 2003, they created TypePad for people who “just wanted to blog” and not fuss with anything more technical. Essentially, it allowed everyday users to go to the TypePad site, plug in a few required pieces of information and start blogging for money for a nominal fee. There was no coding needed, no big downloads to install…just log in and blog. TypePad gave a blog voice to a whole new audience. Moms, college kids, wannabe writers and everyone in between had access to well-designed, easy-to-read blog templates that they could use to create their own. In preparing to launch TypePad, the Trotts accepted funding to help the business grow, officially hired their first employee and moved out of the spare bedroom and into an office. In 2004, Six Apart embarked on a huge expansion with the development of Movable Type 3.0, intended for use by large corporations. Once established, Six Apart built a framework for advertising, driven by the millions of users frequenting the site. This subsequent innovations and acquisitions, Six Apart was able to acquire other blog companies, solidifying the company as a leading provider of blog platforms. BEN AND MENA TROTT:
Turning Your Passion into a Career

Persevere. It gets dark sometimes and you might not have much of a life with 100-hour workweeks. Be committed to building a business and helping others succeed, and don’t be ashamed of trying to start blogging for money.

Make it interesting. Create a product or technology that you actually use so you can talk about it. “I was able to give concrete examples of why my blogging has really changed my life,” Mena says.

Don’t think you have all the answers. There’s no way you know as much as people with much more experience. Young people have great instincts and talent, but there’s always room to learn.

Blogging will change your business

Doing Internet marketing is a great method to build your business and promoting your products or services. What’s really exciting about Internet marketing is getting the opportunity to get a chance to make residual income. Just hearing the words residual income gives me goosebumps. At a job…1 x 1 will always = 1. 1 person that does a job 1 time will get paid 1 time. Residual income means that you do the job one time…you get paid for it the rest of your life. Elvis Presley made 11 million dollars last year…and he’s dead. But everytime someone plays his music or watch his movies, guess what?…he’s getting paid.  I love the TV series “Friends”.  The show has been done for a couple of years now but everytime they show reruns…somebody’s getting paid.  Internet marketing is a method that goes to work for you building your business and promoting your products and services around the clock while you sleep, spending time with your family, traveling, or whatever you want to do. I don’t know about you but that’s how I like to make money. There are different ways to go about internet marketing…but we’re gonna focus on blogging online because that’s all we need to build a business.  My friend Jimmy said that “If your company doesn’t have a blog site…you’ll be blown out by the competition.” Plus it’s free, more organized, more effective and produces more results in less time.

That thing looked like a microwave. It was so huge that you had to carry it around with a shoulder strap. At the time the first cell phone came out…only doctors and lawyers had one.  The rich guys. I remember my uncle selling them and telling my dad that cell phones are going to be a huge market. He said that the cell phones are going to be affordable and will be able to fit into your pocket…everyone is going to have one. My dad said “There’s no way this huge thing can fit into your pocket.”  My dad dislocated his hip for kicking himself in the butt so many times because my uncle made big bucks. My uncle was right. Cell phones do fit in your pocket and everyone has it.  There’s 7 year olds that has a cell phone. I saw one that was like batman. He opened up his jacket and he had two cell phones.

No need to shop for Web Hosting

In CategoryBlogging For Money
ByUser Imagejakerosario

When we started working on our GO FOR TEN projectmy friend Jimmy and I were searching for the best Web Hosting Company.  We did comparisons on different companies such as GoDaddy, Yahoo, IPOWER, and every other top Web Hosting Company.  After our due-diligence…the one that we decided on was BlueHost.  It included all the features we were looking for at the best possible price…$6.95 a month.  Sure…there are Web Hosting Companies that charge less than $6.95 a month but you know what they say. “You get what you paid for.”  Not like most Web Hosting Companies, Bluehost includes:

  • UNLIMITED Hosting Space
  • UNLIMITED File Transfer
  • FREE Domain Forever
  • UNLIMITED Domains
  • and many more…
All the features included are good to have when you’re looking for a good Web Hosting company but the most important reason why we got started with BlueHost is because of their great customer service.  They answered all of our questions and helped us out with any concern we had.  So if you are new and you don’t have a website yet…you don’t have to worry about anything.  We are new to this too and when we partnered with BlueHost as our Web Hosting…they set us up with everything that we needed to get started.  And if you already have a domain name and a Website…that’s okay too. They will help you out.  As a matter of fact, BlueHost reminds me of the cable guy…cuz they hook it up!

Is blogging for FREE good or bad?

In CategoryBlogging For Money
ByUser Imagejakerosario

There are many different benefits you get by having a blog site.  But the most important benefit for having a blog is that it is FREE.  That gets a lot of people excited.  They don’t have to reach into their pocket and spend a dime.  They can have nothing but lint in their pocket and still have the benefit of owning their own business online…for free.  The only downfall for having a FREE blog site is that, well, it’s FREE.  Most of the time, people don’t take things too seriously if they don’t pay anything for it.  If you have a blog site for a business purpose and you want to generate money by placing ads or building your business, because it’s free, they might treat it like a hobby.  The people who has a blog site for business purposes and treat it like a hobby are the ones that most likely quit. There’s Perez Hilton and many others who treat their blog site like they spent a million dollars on it so it responded like a million dollar business.  And there are young teenagers that treat their blog site like it’s a Playstation and make more money monthly than most adults do yearly.  So if you have a blog site and you want to GO FOR TEN…just rememember…If you treat your blog site like a hobby, it will respond like a hobby.  ”If you treat your blog site like a business, it will respond like a business.”
