Reactions is an awesome tool that you can add to the posts of your blog. It’s a great way for bloggers to get feedbacks about each content. Depending on the template of your Blogger website…it can either be at the top or the bottom of the post. This is an example of what it look like.
With just one click, the visitors can let you know whether they love the post, like the post, or don’t like it at all. Check out this website to see this Blogger’s Reactions at the bottom of his post.
To add Reactions to the post of your blog, just go to your dashboard page using Blogger. Click on “Page Element” from your layout page. And click on the “Edit” link on your Blog Post element.
A new window will appear where you can enable the Reactions tool.
Check the box to enable the Reactions. You can leave the Reaction’s choices as default or you can add or edit them, separated by comma, to whatever choices you want your visitors to choose from. Once you are done…simply click on the “Save” button and you are ready to view the Reactions on the contents of your blog.
The Reading List is a list of the latest posts of your favorite blogs. The Reading List is located at the bottom of your Dashboard page which gives you the ability to subscribe to any blog with a feed. Everytime one of your favorite blog publish a new post…the post will automatically be updated into your Reading List…that way, you don’t have to individually go to each of your favorite blog to see if any new post has been published. It’s really simple to add your favorite blog to your Reading List. Just go to your Blogger Dashboard and simply click on “Blogs I’m Following.”
Next…click on the “ADD” button that is located on the bottom left hand corner of the page.
All you have to do now is type in the Blog’s URL address that you would like to add to your Reading List.
You can add another blog’s URL address or as many as you want by clicking on the “Add Another” link under the URL box. Once you are finish…simply click on the “Add” button and a new window will appear.
You can either choose whether you want the blog to be public or private. Once you are finished…click on the “Done” button. You have just added your favorite blogs to your Reading List. Now you can view the latest post of your favorite blog.
A follower is simply what it is. You want to become a follower of a blog that you love. When you become a follower…you are letting the authour of the blog know that you love their blog. As a follower, you can also read their latest post on your Reading List of your dashboard. There are different ways to become a follower of a blog but the simplest way is to click on “Follow this Blog” under the “Followers Gadget” when you visit the site of the blog you want to follow.
A new window will appear where you can choose whether you want to follow publicly or you want to keep your subscription privately. By choosing to follow publicly, the picture of your profile will be displayed on the blog you chose to follow with the link to you Blogger profile.
Once you selected how you want to follow the blog, simply click on the “Save” button and you just became a follower of the blog. This is a great tool for you to use if you want to build a community and get traffic to your blog.

When you get started with Blogger…anyone in the world will be able to view your blog. But you can adjust the setting to where you can only select the people you want viewing your blog. Simply click on the “Permissions” tab from your settings.
Change the default from Anybody to “Only readers I choose” and click on “Add Readers”
Now enter the email of the person you are giving permission to view your blog. You can enter as many emails as you want by separating the emails with a comma. When you are done, click “Save”

Well, now you can by simply creating a Blog List by adding the Gadget to your blog. A Blog List is a list of links of the most recent post of your favorite blogs. Simply click on “Page Elements” on the Layout page.
Click on “Add a Gadget“. A new window will appear where you can choose from thousands of gadgets to your blog. Click on the Blog List gadget.
It gets easier. Just enter the title you want to name your Blog List. Use the dropdown bar to choose how you want to sort your Blog List and how many blogs you want on your list.
You can now check the boxes if you want to show an icon on each blog, the title of most recent item, a snippet of most recent item, and the date of last update.
The next thing to do is to add your favorite blogs to your Blog List. Just simply click on the link to add a blog to your list and add the URL address of the blog or you can import subscriptions from Google Reader.
You can add as many blog as you wish into your Blog List. When you are finish…just click on “Save Changes”. You can now view your blog list from your Blog’s sidebar.
A podcast is a digital media file or collection of files that is distributed over the internet and played back on a computer or a personal player like an ipod. Some people just doesn’t like to read and would prefer to listen. So you can post a podcast on your blog where people can listen or watch rather than read. Using your mobile phone is a great way to post a picture, text, or even both if you are on the go. Just send the message and Blogger will do the arrangement automatically and publish the post.
Adding a gadget using Blogger is simple to do. What you want to do is go to your layout page and click on “Page Element“.
On the sidebar of your layout…simply click on “Add A Gadget“. A new window will appear with thousands of gadgets you can choose from. Categories from news, tools, games, sports, and much more. You can also browse from the latest and newest gadgets to the basics or most popular. Once you are done choosing the one you want…simply click on the plus button and then save.
A hyperlink is a link to send someone to another page of your website. The reason why you want to create some hyperlinks in the content of your website is so someone can navigate through your website to get additional informations. The first thing you want to do is to highlight the text you want to create a link into. After you are done, simply click on the hyperlink icon on the toolbar above your post.
You can also hit control+shift+a on your keyboard to create a hyperlink. Either way…a new window will appear. Just enter the URL address of the page you are sending someone to. Remember to always have http:// at the beginning of the URL address.
Select a target whether or not you want the page to be opened in a new window and clink “INSERT”
You are done creating a hyperlink.

To add a video to your post…simply click on the video icon located on the toolbar on top of your post.
Click “Browse” to find the video you want to upload when the new window appear. Enter the title of the video, accept the terms and conditions, and click “Upload Video”
